Okay, I'm expecting a storm of mood swings......

1) DH is sick, and you know how grumpy & demanding most men get when they're sick!!!

2) He's also suffering from chronic smoker's cough, which prompted #3

3) He's wanting to quit smoking, and you know that they get crankier when they quit! I wish him luck, but I'm a little fearin' for us!

Uggggggghhhh!

Good luck with this one. I hope he succeeds. I just heard this weekend from someone, that nicorette gum really works, maybe it will work for your dh.

We'll he's still trying to quit. Last report he was at 10/day instead of 1.5 packs per day. I guess thats good. But he has been incredibly moody and hurtful (emotionally). I know he's always that way, to the point of being extreme!!!!! But since he got over being sick, he has continued with that nasty smoker's hack that has him doubled over and trying to catch his breath. These spells can last for up to an hour. He swears that it's something in this house that is making him cough because while he's at work (around saw dust all day) he doesn't have these spells. He said its only while he is at home. That might be true to some extent, but I still think he has something else going on like bronchitis that is causing this sensitivity! We've changed NOTHING in our day to day routine over the last year so he shouldn't be influenced by deodorant, detergent, or air fresheners. I just am at my emotional wits end.

Yesterday my youngest turned 8, 'daddy' bitched all day! I hated to see my youngest have a bad b-day cause he was being fussed at about anything and everything, most always trivial!!!!!

[deep sigh]

maybe things will get better.

ditto ..... still cranky and denies the possibility that 16+ yrs of smoking has caused this. Thinks I'm crazy! Told him he should go to the doctor to be checked, but wont do it.
