Hot Glue Spots
(PHOTOS FORTHCOMING, JUST AS SOON AS I FIND MY CAMERA!!! )
Hey ladies, thanks for allowing me to skip April TOM. I had a lot of ‘catching up’ to do. I’m back and hopefully you will find May’s TOM intriguing.
This months TOM involves HOT MELT GLUE. You’ve all seen those seals that appear sometimes on letters and invitations that have an initial on them. This is an economical way to reproduce that effect and have a special place in a layout that houses journaling that is meant to ‘someday’ be discovered. Secure a heritage layout or journaling. There are lots, have fun and play with it.
SUPPLIES LIST Hot Glue Gun Colored Hot Glue Stick Rubber Stamp ¼ tsp Cooking Oil or Non-Stick Spray
STEP ONE Prep your glue gun with the colored hot-melt stick.
STEP TWO Carefully make a dimes-sized ‘pile and allow to cool slightly, but not completely!
STEP THREE Dab the end of your stamp into the oil/non-stick spray. Press stamp firmly into the hot-melt glue and allow to completely cool before removing.
STEP FOUR Carefully wipe away any oily residue on the hot-melt seal so it does not transfer to your creation.
