STEP STAMPIN'

Have you ever wished that you had an embellishment that could match your stamped background?
Save some money …. Make Your Own!
This will make an excellent accent to any tag, card, or other paper project.

Supplies Needed
Craft Foam (or computer mouse pad)
Rubber Stamp
Cardstock
Water
Heat Gun (Optional)
Glitter, Chalk, fibers (Optional)

Cut a piece of paper to fit the stamp image you desire. Immerse cardstock in water then pat dry with paper towel to remove excess water. Place a piece of craft foam (must be larger than your cardstock) on the floor….yes, the floor! If you use a mouse pad, be sure that you place the rubberized side up. Now place wet cardstock on top of the craft foam.

Allow to completely dry (or dry with heat gun... if you use heat gun turn paper over every few seconds to reduce paper's curling). Once dry trim excess paper from around the edge of image. You can use fiber, eyelets, brads or your other favorite method of attaching your accent to your creation.

To add extra flair, incorporate chalk, glitter, or other mediums to help image pop.

Note from Thread Moderator:

Hi everyone … this is my maiden post as moderator in this area. I just wanted to say thank you for your support. If I post something that you have questions about, please send me a PM so I can address the question. Next edition, photos should be larger!

If I have covered a topic that you already know how to do, or is of no interest to you, be patient and check back each month. I will be varying the techniques and the mediums used!

In upcoming months I will host a class for a nominal fee on no less than 10 techniques. Watch for information here and under “Classes” in the Clubhouse.

Now go have some fun!
