Does anyone have windows XP ??

If so, I need some help. My monitor is just about shot, so I have to adjust the brightness in my computer, so I can see everything.... In windows ME, this was easy.... I just right clicked on the desktop, and clicked Properties, and went in and changed it..... I have spent hours already searching on my computer for it, and on the internet for info on how to do it, with NO luck!! I am getting frustrated......
So............ if any of you gals have Windows XP, can you tell me where I go to adjust the brightness?? Thanks a million!!

hubby said, depends on your graphics card.
right click on desktop,
sellect properties,
go to settings tab
click advance button
should be under one of the tabs.

but if your monitor is shot...you may not have alot of luck.

Rhea, I checked under each tab and there is nothing to set the Brightness..... any other ideas?? Before i put Windows XP on my computer, I was using Windows ME, andI could adjust the brightness, and could then see everything clearly...... but I have even Googled, and cannot find anything on adjusting the brightness in XP

OK, I figured it out!! I updated my Graphics Driver, and then went in to my computer, and clicked on Intel Graphics Technology, and TADA!!!!!! I adjusted the brightness and Gamma, and I am set...... It is like putting on a pair of glasses!! I CAN SEE!! I CAN SEE!! LOLOLOLOL
