| The other day, I got an email from scrapbook trend. In the email (and some of you might have gotten it) it asked for all scrapper to help our troops. It said this
"We all want to support the troops serving our country and world, but it's not always easy to know what to do for them. We've got the perfect opportunity for you to show your support while putting your card-making skills to good use. Soldiers are always writing to their loved ones back home, yet do not have the opportunity to get cards to send them. Northridge Media is collecting cards to send to soldiers that they can then use to send greetings back to their families and friends.
We are collecting cards for all occasions – birthday, get well, thinking of you, love, kids, etc. Please include as many as you would like to create! Holiday cards need to be sent as soon as possible to allow time for them to be sent back; the deadline for holiday cards is September 29th. Other cards can be sent until December 31, 2007. Please make sure to include an envelope for each card you send."
SO this is my new challenge. lets take time out from our scrapping lives and help others.
My challenge for all of you is to scrap as many cards as you can. LETS HELP OUR TROOPS
PLEASE LET'S MAKE THIS FUN. I would love to help our troops...so who's in? COME ON GIRLS....WHO'S GOT IT IN THEM?
Rules: 1. SHOOT FOR A HIGH NUMBER...this means go for more than 20 or 30 cards... maybe even a 100. please let me know what the goal is. 2. use your scraps. (this way we can clean out our old stuff) 3. EVERYTHING you've made must be in the mail by SEPT. 7 2007 4. Please make a new album titled "help our troop cards" and place your cards in there. so, that I can add the link to the front page. 5. we want to see what's new...so post it here 6. please keep count 7. please share this challenge with 10 people on your friends list. ( I would love for us to hit a high # ...something like 5,000 cards) 8.Make them look great. Please make sure you do your best at these cards. 9. HAVE FUN!!! 10. comment on others work...for support
I know this was a ton of reading...but just think of how happy others will be to see your card(s) in their mail box!

| Sounds good! I gotta get past this Sat before I will commit, but will touch base with you again on it. I did something like this for a diff site, but it was us sending cards of thanks to the troops as part of the "A MILLION THANKS" campaigne.
