What's a Mom to Do????
Okay ladies....I've had a herlding experience last night. With everything else going on, my eldest son had a near amputation of his ring finger last night (right hand too). After spending 4 hours at the local ER, they were able to sew it back on. I feel horrible as he about lost the top part of his finger helping us move a couple of things out of storage. After first being told that it really didn't look that serious, to, he cut right threw his finger dow to the bone - near amputation. The doctor said even though he was hopefull that the stiches "took" (whatever that means), it stil had a 20% chance that he would lose his finger.
AFter the pain and blood and more blood, my just turned 18 year old says to me "hey, I know a guy who lost the top of his finger and he does okay"......even though he was in alot of pain, he was cracking jokes with the best of them. Even so much as to say, "good thing Summer School is out tomorrow....it would be kinda hard to type in there now".speaking of his creative writing class he took this summer. The real kicker here is that he has been working to save for a car this summer and guess what his job is??? Dishwasher for Newman's Pasta Cafe. *sigh*.....
I also take my 3 1/2 year old into the dr today for the 2nd time, as there is a "bump" near his temple lobe that will not go away.....I hope to God that it isn't anything as well....I know I shouldn't worry and put it all in Gods hands, but "What's a Mom to Do?".
It would make me feel soooo much better if I could get prayers of healing for both my sons, Tyler and Carson. Thank you soooo much!
